Artist Bio + CV

Katheryn Horne (she/her) is a printmaker and multimedia artist from Fall River, WI. Horne graduated with her MFA in Printmaking from the University of Colorado Boulder and her BS in Art from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Her work has been in numerous exhibitions and she was a 2023 Visiting Artist at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio.

Hornes' work, through the inherent physicality of printmaking in conjunction with paper cutting and collage, forms her lived experiences of being a larger bodied, gay, Native woman into material images and artworks. She is heavily influenced by her Ho-Chunk culture and uses repeated imagery and symbols within her work as a visual language.
